The Supreme Court of Canada decision with respect to Physician Assisted Dying (Carter vs. Canada, Feb, 2015) has prompted the Government of Canada to consult with Canadians for the purpose of drafting legislation. Participation by all Canadians, including those who are impacted by Parkinsons, will be valuable and used to help shape new federal law. The consultation is being overseen by a panel that is external to the Government of Canada.
Canadians may share their views by:
1. Sending a formal submission no later than October 11, 2015, or;
2. Completing an online survey by November 1, 2015.
