Retired Canadian Hockey player, Steve Ludzik, St.Catharines M.P. Rick Dykstra and Carolyn Bergeron, Vice President of Clinical Services at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital will be interviewed and talk about Parkinsons during the half time intermission on Hockey Night in Canada, Saturday January 18. The game begins at 7pm on CBC-TV.

August 1, 2013 - Parkinson Niagara published the pre-launch issue of it's new "Parkinson Niagara News". The free monthly email newsletter (e-News) will highlight events, news and resources that are of interest to Parkinsons stakeholders within the Niagara Peninsula of Ontario Canada. The first official issue will be published on or about Labour Day in September.

May 13, 2013 - The Hotel Dieu Shaver Health and Rehabilitation Centre has announced the formation of the Steve Ludzik Centre for Parkinsons Rehab.
The new center is named after Niagara Falls resident and former NHL hockey player and coach, Steve Ludzik. He was diagnosed and has been living with Parkinsons for about twelve years.

26Dec11 - Paul Pasmore passed away on Friday December 23, 2011 in his 74th year.
Mr Pasmore was the President of the Niagara Chapter of the Parkinson Society of Canada for many years. He was actively involved in supporting many charitable efforts in Niagara including the Parkinson Society of Canada.
